Missing Limerick man found safe and well

THE SEARCH for a 22-year-old Limerick man has been called off after Gardaí this Monday afternoon confirmed that he had been found safe and well.

Local Gardaí and the family of Robert Dawson had expressed concern over the bank holiday long weekend for the wellbeing young local man who had last been seen in the Vereker Gardens area of the Ennis Road in Limerick City on the afternoon of Friday May 31.

According to a Garda appeal for assistance, Mr Dawson had last been seen on the day when he was picked up by a taxi in Vereker Gardens at around 1.15pm that afternoon.

This afternoon (Monday June 3), Gardaí confirmed that the 22-year-old local man, known across Limerick as a talented up-and-coming singer, had been located safe and well.

Gardaí thanked the public for their assistance in the matter.
