TWO Limerick students will be representing the Treaty when they compete at the SciFest National Final later this year.

Musa Njue and Cian Murphy from Coláiste Chiaráin in Croom took home the prestigious EirGrid Cleaner Climate Award at the recent SciFest@Limerick STEM fair held at the TUS Moylish Campus for their project focusing on finding the best insulation for Irish homes.

Selected from over 100 student projects at the fair, the Croom students will now go on to represent nationally.

The awards aim to laud students who engage with projects that address challenges posed by climate or energy.
