A COUPLE of former Rugby Internationals – Seán Cronin and Ian Keatley, who have both won Six Nations Championships with Ireland – featured with Ahane in a stunning 5-19 to 2-4 defeat of Ballybrown in the City East Junior Football League Final in Rathbane.
Cronin previously won a Limerick Senior Football Championship medal with Monaleen (2005).
Gary Brennan, who represented Irish in the International GAA Rules Series, was also on the Ahane starting selection.
The winning side was captained by goalkeeper Tristan O’Sullivan.
