Limerick’s ‘different kind of energy’ aiming to bring tourism home

People are encouraged to sample Limerick's different kind of energy this summer.

LIMERICK is aiming to bring tourism home with the launch of a new campaign highlighting the world of diversity the city and county have to offer.

The ‘Limerick: A Different Kind of Energy‘ campaign was launched this week by Limerick City and County Council in both digital and traditional media.

Limerick has an unbeatable blend of scenic countryside and urban excitement, making it an ideal visitor destination, a statement from the local authority said. Whether it is experiencing unmissable gigs and comedy shows, engaging in outdoor adventures like cycling the Limerick Greenway or watersports on the Shannon, or exploring vibrant culture where fine art meets street art, Limerick has something for everyone.

Over four weeks, the Limerick: A Different Kind of Energy campaign will engage audiences through a variety of promotional activities including dynamic TV advertising, national radio competitions, social media influencer partnerships, comprehensive PR efforts, e-newsletters, and digital marketing.

Additionally, the campaign will feature an exclusive Spotify playlist, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Limerick’s unique atmosphere with a curated all-local soundtrack.
