LABOUR Party councillor Elena Secas has welcomed the recent approval of the application for CCTV on the Castletroy Greenway by the Joint Policing Committee (JPC).
“The authorisation process for community CCTV is a lengthy process and I am delighted to see this scheme well underway, gaining approval from the CCTV Oversight Committee on April 18, and from the JPC,” she said.
“The next stage is now the public consultation which is to take place this summer after the local elections, so it will be very important for people to engage with and provide their feedback during the public consultation when it takes place.”
