ESTABLISHED in 1974, Griffith College has been a centre of educational excellence, nurturing talent, and shaping futures for half a century.
To commemorate this significant milestone, Griffith College Limerick hosted an event at the Strand Hotel on May 16. It was an evening of celebration, reflecting on the achievements of the past 50 years whilst also looking ahead to the future.
Griffith College has remained steadfast in its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and inclusivity, representatives of the college said. With a wide range of programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level, the college has empowered countless students to pursue their passions and realize their full potential.
“We are immensely proud to celebrate this remarkable milestone of 50 years of educational excellence,” remarked Kevin O’Sullivan, head of campus at Griffith College Limerick.
“This event not only honours our storied history but also heralds a future filled with endless possibilities and continued dedication to education.”
Griffith College Presient Prof Diarmuid Hegarty said that the college “has achieved much over the past half century and our Limerick campus has played a key role since 2006. Its success has been founded on three pillars – a clear focus on our learners, an agility in responding to their needs and the needs of industry, and the dedication and commitment of the college’s staff”.
