LABOUR councillor Joe Leddin has questioned Limerick City and County Council about the level of engagement taking place to progress the provision of residential housing units in Mallow Street in Limerick City, arising from the difficulties being experienced by the Peter McVerry Trust housing association.
Cllr Leddin was informed that regular engagement is taking place between the local authority and the Peter McVerry Trust on the 2-3 Mallow Street Capital Assistance Scheme (CAS) project.
The local authority said that the project is currently on site with handover of the 12 units scheduled for the third quarter of this year.
