Mein Gott – Belltable.  The Northside Misfits return with their self-penned play entitled Mein Gott. An airport, a thick fog, one deadly virus, a new born baby, illegal smuggling and an Irish dancing flash mob. Fasten your seatbelts. It’s going to be a bumpy ride.

Professor Brian Cox – University Concert Hall. Horizons is a celebration of our civilisation, of our music, art, philosophy and science; an optimistic vision of our future if we continue to explore Nature with humility and to value ourselves and our fellow human beings.

Seed Talks Presents The Psychology Of Narcissism – Dolans. An insightful and empathetic exploration of narcissism, a complex and often misunderstood psychological disorder.

The Black & Tans in Palestine – Watch House Cross Library. 6.30pm – A Repetition of the Irish Show? The Black & Tans in Palestine, 1922-1948. Dr Seán Gannon discusses the transfer of 700 disbanded ex-RIC as a striking force/riot squad to Palestine in spring 1922 and assesses the extent to which they adopted an ‘Irish’ approach to their defence of British colonial rule.

Duke Special (aka Belfast’s Peter Wilson) has released 17 albums and EPs, toured all over the world and has been involved in a diverse array of other projects. Future Limerick: Climate Arts Festival 2024 – Belltable

The End We Start From – Belltable. A woman tries to find her way home with her newborn while an environmental crisis submerges London in floodwaters. Featuring Jodie Comer and Joel Fry this film looks at the fallout from the climate emergency.

Emerging Limerick Filmmakers – Belltable.  Screening of two short films and panel discussion. Rat King and Mob the Trench (both films found success nationally and abroad) were developed by Emerging Limerick Filmmaker’s members with the support of professional mentorship. Both look towards the future tackling topics around anxiety, belief and personal identity in the face of a contested place in a changing world.

Music and Myth Busting – Belltable. FUTURE LIMERICK, Climate Arts Festival 2024: An evening of beautiful music, storytelling and some illuminating facts about the world we live in, told through the power of intercultural song. Presented by University of Limerick Arts, Data Literacy and Diversity Project featuring the ADD Your Voice Ensemble.

Skerryvore – Dolans.  Traditional Scottish folk music with rock elements.

Scratch Night – Belltable. FUTURE LIMERICK, Climate Arts Festival 2024: An inspiring evening of new short plays themed around the climate crisis, celebrating exciting new work by writers, actors and directors from Limerick and beyond. Plays showcased in previous Scratch Nights have gone on to be developed as full length works on stages around the country.
