GARDAÍ in Limerick are investigating after a burglary in Mary Immaculate College on Thursday last (May 9).
The incident occurred at approximately 9pm on Thursday night at the city college, with thieves taking an unknown sum of money from the premises.
Gardaí confirmed to the Limerick Post that they are investigating the incident.
It is believed that the thieves stole the sum of money from the canteen area of the college.
It is not yet known how the thieves managed to gain entry to the building, and the amount of money that was stolen also hasn’t been revealed.
A spokesman for An Garda Síochána said that “no arrests have been made at this time.”
“Investigations are ongoing,” the Garda spokesman continued.
