GARDAÍ in Limerick have issued a public appeal for help in investigating a vicious broad daylight assault that left a man in hospital with injuries to his face.
On May 1 at 17.20 in the evening, a statement from Gardaí said, a man in his early 30s was assaulted.
The victim suffered facial injuries and was taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.
The assault happened, Gardáí have said, on Sycamore Avenue in Rathbane.
Gardaí in Roxboro are looking for witnesses and motorists who may have dashcam footage or who may have been in the area to contact them on 061 214 340.
