Emergency services attend scene of road traffic incident in Limerick City Centre

GARDAÍ and emergency services in Limerick are currently at the scene of a road traffic incident in heart of Limerick this Wednesday afternoon (8 May).

The incident occurred on O’Connell Street this afternoon, and it is understood that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

A Garda spokesman confirmed to the Limerick Post that “Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a road traffic incident on O’Connell Street, Limerick”.

The spokesman said that there was “no further information available at this time”.
