REGULAR Soul/Funk/Jazz club Prima Volta welcomes nine-piece band Trá Pháidín to The Record Room this Friday May 3. Trá Pháidín occupy a unique space in the Irish music landscape with their engaging, mainly instrumental pieces of music.
The group fuses elements of trad, folk and experimental jazz to create a unique sound as rugged as their Connemara background. Their new album has been making waves globally and you can expect to hear the full spectrum of their immersive sound as they park up the 424 bus in Limerick. Regular selectors Peter Curtin and Bill Baramus are also on the bill.
