It could be you: Limerick Lotto player scoops €9m prize

THE SEARCH is on for a lucky Limerick Lotto player who is holding a ticket worth almost €9million after last night’s (Saturday) draw.

The win marks the Treaty’s third Lotto jackpot winner of 2024, with last night’s winner set to take home €8,970,934.

The National Lottery is urging players in Limerick, where the winning ticket was bought, to check their tickets as the search for the winner has begun.

The winning numbers in last night’s draw were 01, 09, 10, 14, 26, 40, and the bonus was 04.

The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to claim their life-changing prize.

The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning store location where the ticket was purchased will be revealed on Tuesday 23 April.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to good causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage,  and the Irish language.

In total, more than €6billion has been raised for good causes since the National Lottery was established 36 years ago.
