ONE of Limerick City’s suicide prevention river patrol groups is set to hold an open information evening next week for members of the public to learn more about how to join its team.
Limerick Suicide Watch will host the informal information session from 7pm to 9pm at its headquarters at Unit 3, Tait Business Centre, Dominic Street, in Limerick City on Wednesday next (April 24).
The session will invite members of the public to meet the suicide prevention group’s volunteers and recruitment team, who will discuss the work the group performs on Limerick’s riverside streets as well as give a tour of the group’s base and equipment.
