LIMERICK run up against neighbours and holders Clare in round three of the Munster Minor Hurling Championship at O’Garney Park, Sixmilebridge tonight (Thursday 7pm).

In the opening round, Limerick had a bye.

Then the Shanonsiders lost away to Cork and thus points from this round-robin fixture are crucial to keep alive hopes of qualification for the business end of a very competitive championship.

Clare beat Waterford in the first round and were not in action the following week.
