THE DESMOND O’Grady Memorial poetry reading will take place in Limerick’s People’s Museum this Wednesday night (April 17).
As well as the reading, the winner of the Desmond O’Grady International Poetry Competition will be announced.
The event will see three poets take to the stage, Niamh Twomey, Arthur Broomfield, and Matthew Geden.
The event takes place as part of April is Poetry Month in Limerick.
The Desmond O’Grady Memorial Poetry Reading is free and open to all, and will kick off at the People’s Museum of Limerick on Pery Square from 7.30pm.
