Limerick Lions Club to host memorial seven bridges walk

Mayor of Limerick councillor Gerald Mitchell will take part in Limerick Lions Club's Seven Bridges walk this Sunday.

THE LIMERICK Lions Club will host a special memorial walk this coming Sunday.

Mayor Gerald Mitchell officially launched the Limerick Lions Club Seven Bridges Walk, which will be held this Sunday, April 14 in memory of the late Gerry McKeon.

The walk, which will be led by bagpipes from the City of Limerick Pipe Band, will begin at 11am from the Locke Bar on George’s Quay before continuing down Sir Harry’s Mall, across Thomond Bridge and down Nicholas Street before returning to the Locke Bar.

Walk cards have been issued to participating charities and donations can also be made online.
