AMID consistently high demand for blood in hospitals, the Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) will hold a number of local clinics in April.
Two clinics will be held just outside Limerick city.
The first of these is at Limerick Greyhound Stadium on the Dock Road, on Wednesday, April 3 from 4.20pm to 7.40pm.
The second clinic will take place in the Crescent Shopping Centre on Sunday, April 9 from 11.50am to 3.10pm.
The IBTS are appealing for regular donors to give, as well as any new donors as demand for blood is up six per cent on the same period last year.
