GARDAÍ today appealed for information after a house in Drombana, County Limerick, was damaged by gunfire after shots were fired at it last Saturday (March 23).
Gardaí said officers responded to reports of “shots fired” at the house at approximately 9pm that evening.
“Criminal damage occurred at the property and no persons were injured during the incident,” a Garda spokesman said.
Appealing for witnesses and information, the Garda spokesman said: “Any person who was in the Drombanna, Rathurd, Ballyclough, Ballyneety and surrounding areas on Saturday the 23rd of March 2024, between 8.45pm – 9.15pm and who may have mobile phone or dashcam footage, is asked to make this available to Gardaí.”
“In particular, Gardaí are looking to speak with anyone who may have seen a silver hatchback Mercedes at any of these locations.”
Anyone who may have information or video footage relating to the vehicle or shooting is asked to contact Roxboro Garda Station on 061 214 340, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
Gardai said their “investigations are ongoing”.
