LIMERICK farmers are being reminded that the deadline for the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme is fast approaching.
Ifac, the professional agribusiness specialist firm issued a reminder to farmers across the county that the deadline for the scheme is April 12.
Under the TAMS III scheme, grants of up to 40 per cent of a €90,000 spend are available to help farmers build or improve a specified range of farm buildings.
Eugene Higgins, Partner at Ifac Limerick said: “the key advice is not to rush the decision on investment for the sake of meeting a deadline – this could be far more costly than delaying your application”.
