A FEASIBILITY study has been carried out on the provision of a pedestrian walkway along the N21 linking the existing pedestrian facilities in Templeglantine to Dore’s Cross.
This was the response to a question from Fine Gael councillor Liam Galvin who asked at this month’s Newcastle West area meeting for an update on the footpath from Templeglantine GAA field to Dore’s Cross back to the Devon Inn Hotel and safety measures at the junction.
Cllr Galvin was told by the local authority that confirmation is still pending from Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) to allow progression of this design and any associated applications of funding.
