Both teams have enjoyed impressive early season form and a bumper attendance is guaranteed at the Garryowen venue for this Munster Derby.
Tommy Barrett’s finely-tuned outfit were due to meet Longford Town at the weekend but the fixture at Bishopsgate was called off due to an unplayable pitch.
Tim Clancy managed Cork City have quality in their ranks through Seán Murray, Nathan Woods, Cathal O’Sullivan, John O’Donovan, Evan McLaughlin, and Jack Doherty.
A cracking contest is in prospect.
Meanwhile, in the All-Island Women’s Cup, Treaty United are home to Shamrock Rovers at the same venue on Saturday (7pm).
At the weekend, Treaty were impressive 2-0 winners over DLR Waves (Dublin) in their Premier Division League opener. The goals came through Katie Lawlee and Erin Van Dolder.
