FORMER Limerick Chamber CEO Dee Ryan has officially been selected as Fianna Fáil’s candidate for Limerick’s upcoming mayoral election on June 7.
Ms Ryan had been announced as their candidate last week, but it was signed and sealed at the Fianna Fáil selection convention at the Southcourt Hotel in Raheen.
Speaking after her official selection, Ms Ryan said it was an “incredible honour” to be selected as the Fianna Fáil candidate for the inaugural DEM election.
“My role as CEO of Limerick Chamber truly ignited my passion for serving our city and county.
“It feels as though the experience, the relationships and knowledge I have gained over the last almost six years have been leading me to this point,” Ms Ryan said.
