Foynes to welcome jet-setting talk on history of Pan Am Airlines

A TOP professor will fly into Foynes later this month to launch his new book, ‘Food and Aviation in the Twentieth Century‘.

Professor Bryce Evans will land at Foynes’ Flying Boat Museum on March 22 to launch his book on the modern history of airline food, focusing on the glitz and glamour of the Pan Am airline, with Professor Evans having travelled across the US to interview past crew members of the well-known airline.

The launch will take off at the Foynes Flying Boat Museum on March 22 at 5pm.

Admission is free and all are welcome, with light refreshments available on the evening.
