MORE than 6,000 homes and businesses in Limerick City are without power this morning.
The fault was reported in Garryowen and surrounding areas to the ESB early this morning at 7.36am.
6,055 customers were without power.
ESB crews are working to restore power at the moment and it was meant to be back by 8.15am, but still has not returned (at the time of writing just before 9am).
Customers may be experiencing the return of power around now and anyone who is still without power can check the status of the repair works here.
