Bunratty Castle to go green for St Patrick’s Day among programme of family events

-

BUNRATTY Castle will be a vision in green throughout the St Patrick’s Bank Holiday Weekend as part of a festive programme of events.

The folk park site will celebrate Ireland’s patron saint and national holiday by hosting family activities on Saturday March 16, including live Irish traditional music, train rides, and woodworking workshop hosted by TikTok star Eoin Reardon.

Members of the Clare Vintage and Engine Tractor Club will host a display of vintage agricultural machinery, with performances from Darby O’Gill, Konor the Clown with his merry band of Dancing Leprechauns, and Finegas the Druid.

The schoolmaster and busy postmistress will also be on duty and, of course, St Patrick himself.
