Two local groups make donation to Milford Care Centre after charity dance evening

TWO local groups made a generous donation to a vital Limerick care centre after banding together to shake a tailfeather for a good cause.

Raheen Active Retirement Group and Mid West Social Group together held a charity concert and dance evening at the Millennium Centre in Caherconlish in aid of Milford Care Centre, a provider of hospice and palliative care throughout Limerick and the Mid West.

The groups raised €2,205 for the vital local centre, all while having a good time.

A cheque was presented to Anne Marie Hayes of Milford Care Centre by Peg Grimes and Kitty Fitzgerald.
