DEPUTY Mayor of Limerick City and County and Fine Gael councillor, Dan McSweeney, called on the council for an update on the traffic management plan for the city centre.
Cllr McSweeney was informed at the monthly Metropolitan District meeting of the local authority that the National Transport Authority (NTA) has appointed a consultant team for the Limerick City Centre Transport Plan.
“It is intended to commence preparation of the plan in January,” said Head of Strategy and Delivery for the council’s Transportation and Mobility directorate, Hugh McGrath.
