THIS International Womens’ Day (March 8), one Limerick lady will have extra reason to stand tall on the heels of her own accomplishment as she is named Inspirational Business Person of the Year.
Limerick estate agent Helen McCormack is set to be handed down the honour by the All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF) in honour of her “exceptional leadership, unwavering dedication, and profound commitment to inspiring inclusion and driving progress towards gender equality”.
Helen said the award provides a “great opportunity to reflect on how far we have come and also offers a wonderful opportunity to reflect with gratitude on the employers, clients, mentors, peers, friends, and family that offer support on our journeys as well as the freedom and fulfilment in being able to support and uplift others”.
Commending Ms McCormack, the AIBF said that her “leadership embodies the ethos of empowerment and inclusivity, aligning seamlessly with the UN Women’s theme of ‘invest in women, accelerate progess’”, going on to say that her advocacy for women in business has been “instrumental” in nurturing her “diverse and inclusive workplace culture”.
The AIFB is an independent national body that acknowledges ambitious and outstanding Irish businesses and entrepreneurs.
