THERE is local representation – courtesy of Young Munster trio Alan Kennedy, Bailey Faloon, and David Begley and Garryowen’s Bryan Fitzgerald – in the Ireland Club International squad which meet Portugal in the National Stadium, Lisbon, on Friday.
Also headed for sunnier climes are former Shannon performer Luke Clohessy (Terenure College) and Conor Hayes (St Mary’s College), formerly of Young Munster, along with previous local school stars with Crescent College and Glenstal Abbey respectively, namely Daniel Hurley (Cork Constitution), and Aran Egan (Terenure).
The team is coached by Seán Skehan, previously of Garryowen.
