MET Éireann has warned of windy weather for Limerick in the early hours of tomorrow morning (Tuesday).
The warning, issued this Monday morning, warns of “very strong and gusty southwest winds for a time on Tuesday morning”, with possible impacts to include falling branches, damage to temporary structures, wave overtopping, and difficult travelling conditions.
Regular commuters and travellers may not feel the brunt of the impact while driving, as the status yellow warning will be in place from 1am to 8am. However, caution is advised on the roads over potential overnight debris.
The Met Éireann warning will include Limerick, Clare, and Galway.
A second warning, for counties Cork and Kerry, has raised caution over heavy rain and further west to south west winds. It will be in place from 7pm this evening (Monday) to 6am on Tuesday morning.
