Curraghgower Singers donate almost €2,000 to Adare Red Cross branch

THE CURRAGHGOWER Singers made a generous donation of €1,700 to the Adare Branch of the Irish Red Cross.

The donation comes after the choir’s successful Christmas show, the Dickensian Festival of Carols, Lessons, and Poetry, which was held in the Holy Trinity Abbey Church in Adare.

The concert was a singing success in the community, and, from the back of donations on the night, choir master Timothy Schinnick presented a cheque to Mary O’Donnor, Sheila Dundon, and Alice Ruppin Giltenane on the choir’s behalf.
