THE Askeaton Ballysteen Youth Club hosted its annual senior citizens party last month.
The party was organised by transition year school pupils in the youth club, as well as a number of community volunteers.
Held on February 18, the annual party attracted members of the senior community from across Askeaton and Ballysteen, and featured music, chat, revelry, and Easter eggs.
Chairman of the youth club committee, Tommy Hartigan, thanked the committee for the efforts in organising the annual event, “also a big thank you to Father Mockler for saying the Mass, and to Liam and Charlie for the entertainment,” he said.
