A NEW comic book from a well-known local illustrator and author was released this week, with a special art exhibition to help mark the launch.
Limerink, the latest work by Limerick comic book artist Hugh McMahon, was released this Thursday (February 28).
It follows his previous popular works including Limerick Folktales, Limerick Slang, and Three Bridges, all created in the artist’s distinctive style.
Hugh says his work is inspired by the architecture, speech, and humour of Limerick City.
To coincide with the book’s launch, an exhibition of giclée prints from the book will be on show at the Belltable Arts Centre in Limerick City until March 3.
