SEVEN of the nine council-owned houses in Limerick City West are due to undergo major refurbishment this year.
That’s according to a response to a question asked by Labour Party councillor Joe Leddin at a recent local authority Metropolitan District meeting.
Senior engineer with Limerick City and County Council’s Construction and Maintenance department, Brendan Kidney, added that “there are 27 units in Limerick City West for minor refurbishment”.
22 of them are anticipated to be complete within the next year, Mr Kidney said.
