TREATY United enjoyed the perfect start to the new season with a brilliant 3-1 defeat of Cobh Ramblers in the League of Ireland First Division at a well-populated (2,000) Markets Field.
An own goal had Treaty 1-0 ahead at the interval, and on the restart the visitors quickly levelled.
Thereafter, Tommy Barrett’s side were in control and a memorable brace from Thomas Considine secured maximum points for The Blues.
