On Saturday (Division 1A), sixth-placed Young Munster are at Lakelands Park to meet holders Terenure College while ninth-positioned Shannon have Lansdowne as visitors to Thomond Park.
In 1B, John Staunton’s Garryowen, who occupy third slot, are away to leaders St Mary’s College.
Fixtures start at 2.30pm.

Meanwhile, Thomond Park on Thursday hosted two quarter-finals of the Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup: St Munchin’s College v Bandon Grammar School, and Crescent College Comprehensive v Rockwell College.
Already through to the semi-finals are CBC and PBC, both of Cork.
