On their home pitch, Mary I accounted for rivals TUS Mid West, 1-25 to 1-17.
Devon Ryan (Tipperary) hit nine points for Jamie Wallโs side, while other significant scorers were Shane Meehan of Clare with 1-2 and Kilmallockโs Shane OโBrien (0-4).
Holders University of Limerick (UL) impressed in their quarter-final defeat of UCC, 1-21 to 0-16, at Maguireโs Field.
UL had trailed by a couple of points at the interval.
Gearรณidย OโConnor of Tipperary top-scored with 0-8 for the winners, for whom Doonโs Adam English (0-4), Aidan OโConnor (Ballybrown), Paddy OโDonovan (Effin) and Brian OโGrady (Kilteely/Dromkeen) chipped-in with scores.
UL are managed once more by Brian Ryan, South Liberities.
The semi-final pairings are: UL v University of Galway and Mary I v SETU Waterford.
