A LIMERICK swimming club will host a novice gala session this coming Saturday (February 10).
Celtic Waves Swimming Club, based in Grove Island and Shannon, will host the gala for non-competitive swimmers, meaning anyone with an interest in swimming can take part.
The gala will allow young swimmers the chance to prepare and practice for the Community Games.
Organisers say that parents can be assured that their children “won’t be swimming against people who spend six or eight hours in the pool every week”.
