A SECTION of a busy road in Limerick City will close next week to facilitate works on a German superstore.
Limerick City and County Council announced that the left-hand lane on Roche’s Street will close from this coming Monday (February 5) until April 30 in order to facilitate development works on the new Aldi superstore.
The road will close from its junction with Parnell Street to its junction with Anne Street, and on-street parking may be suspended on the right-hand side of the road to accommodate larger traffic volumes.
The council has asked pedestrians to use the right-hand side of the street and have assured that local businesses will be accommodated where possible.
