A LIMERICK school will host an in-person session of a competition to teach girls and young women aged from 10 to 18 the skills needed to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders.
The Technovation Girls competition returns for its sixth year and will stop off at Coláiste Nano Nagle in Limerick.
As part of the competition, girls work in teams with mentors to code mobile apps that address real-world problems they’ve identified.
The curriculum also challenges girls to build a business plan that can bring their app to market.
Anyone interested in applying can do so on teen-turn.com by April 24 this year.
