New throw-in time for Limerick’s clash against Cork in Rathkeale as Doon’s Murphy named captain

BARRY Murphy of Doon has been named as captain of the Limerick side for Sunday’s Munster Senior Hurling League tilt with Cork at Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale which will now take place at the new time of 1pm.

Limerick GAA confirmed the new throw-in time in a statement this afternoon, seeing the third change to the fixture, having been rescheduled twice so far already.

Murphy has been chosen at mid-field, along with Colin Coughlan of Ballybrown.

It’s a team that differs from the one initially announced for the planned mid-week fixture between the counties.

Interestingly, several players who featured in colleges action earlier in the week are included.
