A sporting Mayoral Reception

MAYOR Gerald Mitchell will host a Civic Reception at County Hall, Dooradoyle this weekend to honour some Limerick sporting greats and clubs.

To be honoured are: Hospital Herbertstown GAA Club, to acknowledge the 40th anniversary of the Limerick County Junior Hurling and Football Championship titles in 1983.

Pauline Hynan will be honoured in recognition of her lifetime achievement of fostering and sharing a love and knowledge of dance, in particular, her voluntary contribution to Scór and the many successes she has enjoyed with Cappamore GAA and Camogie Club.

Pallasgreen’s Ger O’Connell will also be honoured in recognition and appreciation of his voluntary contribution to his club, Pallasgreen GAA Club and his tremendous contribution as kit man to the very successful Limerick Senior Hurling Team.
