A SNUG 1-10 to 1-7 win over Clare in Cappamore has put Limerick through to the Munster Minor Championship proper, with a trip to Waterford in the offing on Sunday next.
Against the banner, Limerickโs goal came from Adareโs Aebhรญnย Houlihan, while some quality points were scored by Rรณisรญn O’Brien, Patrickswell, (4) and Poppy Giltenane, Adare, (3).
Limerick are under the joint management of Adareโs Tony Dunne and Paul Neenan, Dromin/Athlacca.
Meanwhile, Laura Fennelly of Cappamore has been announced as Limerick Senior Captain for 2024, with Niamh Ryan (St. Ailbeโs) and Teresa Dore (Patrickswell) as vice-captains.
Limerick are managed this season by two-time All-Star hurling goalkeeper Joe Quaid.
The league begins next month.
