THE search is on in County Limerick to find one lucky local Lotto player who scooped over €65,000 in last night’s (Saturday) draw.

While there was no outright winner of last night’s €12.5million Lotto draw – bringing this Wednesday’s pot to an estimated €13m – one lucky player in Kilmallock has won €65,789 after matching five numbers and the bonus ball in the main Lotto draw.

According to the National Lottery, the player purchased their Quick Pick ticket yesterday at Ryan’s SuperValu store on Sarsfield Street in the heart of Kilmallock.

The National Lottery has called on all players in Kilmallock to check their tickets to see if they are Saturday night’s big winner.

Representatives of the National Lottery have urged the lucky winner to get in touch with the prize claims team on 1800 222 666 or email [email protected].

Nearly 30c of every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to good causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish language. In total, more than €6billion has been raised for since the National Lottery was established 36 years ago.

In 2022 alone, €259.5million was raised for local causes in communities across Ireland.
