NETWORK Ireland Limerick has appointed a new president to promote women in business in Limerick.
Fiona Doyle was appointed president of the Limerick branch of Network Ireland this week by outgoing president Karen Ronan Brosnahan.
Ms Doyle is a businesswoman, certified personal stylist, and primary school teacher, with a wealth of experience in sales and marketing.
Reacting to her appointment, Ms Doyle said that “it is an honour to be elected President of Network Limerick, Ireland. It is a wonderful time to be involved in a dynamic, growing network of like-minded women like we are fortunate to have in Limerick.”
“I am focused on nurturing that network and helping women to support women in their businesses and careers throughout Limerick City and County.”
As president of Network Ireland Limerick, Fiona will be responsible for fostering the aims and objectives of Network Ireland, representing the Limerick branch at the organisation’s national executive meetings, and overseeing the smooth running of monthly events locally.
“In January we are looking forward to welcoming Gina London, Emmy award-winning former CNN journalist and founder and CEO of Language of Leadership Ltd. Gina’s highly interactive presentation will offer attendees the opportunity to learn about the power of their own presentation and connection with others,” the incoming president shared.
“I can’t think of a better way to kick off our New Year than by learning to communicate better with each other. We also will have inspiring guest speakers, panelists, and showcase our own members as we go through the year.
“It is my mission to keep building on the amazing work that the previous presidents before me have done, I would hope to increase membership in 2024 while retaining our current members having hit the 100 mark recently,” Ms Doyle concluded.
Soprano singer Eve Stafford has been appointed vice president for the coming year.
