Limerick Writers’ Centre have announced the 2024 Desmond O’Grady International Poetry Competition.
The competition was inaugurated in 2012 by the late Barney Sheehan in honour of the late Limerick poet Desmond O’Grady, who died in 2014.
The competition as originally part of the Limerick Writer’s Centre April Poetry Month.
Judging this year’s competition is poet and Beckett scholar Arthur Broomfield.
Closing date for entries is midnight Saturday March 14.
