LIMERICK’S Ronan Coughlan, 27, has signed for English League One club Fleetwood Town.
He arrives to Highbury Park following his record haul of goals with First Division promoted Waterford United last season.
Coughlan previously had a spell with Championship outfit Huddersfield Town before a return to League of Ireland.
The Raheen native has signed an 18-month contract subject to international clearance.
“I’m delighted to be here, it took a while to get over the line, but it’s finally happened so I can’t wait to get going. I’ve always wanted to test myself, like any player and, for me, it’s always to push on and play at the highest level I can,” Coughlan told the club website.
Fleetwood host Derby County in their opening home fixture of 2024 at the 5,300 capacity Highbury on Saturday.
