ONE Limerick stalwart of the arts and culture scene was provided with funding from the Arts Council to open its doors into the night as part of the Late-Night Events Pilot Scheme.
The Belltable in Limerick City received the maximum funding of €60,000, which will allow the arts centre to diversify its late-night activities and cultural offering.
It was one of only 14 arts centres nationwide to be named as part of the funding round.
Arts and Culture Minister Catherine Martin said the funding will allow venues to promote a vibrant cultural ecosystem that “thrives after dark”.
