Limerick solicitor appointed to prestigious Law Society committee

A PARTNER in one of the Mid West’s biggest law firms has been appointed to a prestigious Law Society committee.

Derek Walsh, a partner at MHP Sellors has been appointed to the Law Society of Ireland’s Litigation Committee, where he will use his experience in defence litigation to offer advice and guidance to solicitors nationwide.

MHP Sellors has recently celebrated the anniversary of their merger, which united two firms in Limerick and Clare – Michael Houlihan & Partners (MHP) and Sellors – to become the biggest firm in Clare and most expansive dual-county legal team in the Mid West region.

Under the leadership of partner Ronan Hynes, the firm secured both the Munster and overall National Civil Litigation Law Firm of the Year titles at the Dye and Durham Irish Law awards which recognise outstanding achievements in the legal profession in Ireland.
